Changes galore as England start new Test cycle
There is nothing quite like an unsuccessful Ashes series to focus the minds of those in charge of the England team. Rightly or wrongly, change nearly always follows. The question, usually, is how much change and how radical. In the squad announced for the two-Test tour to New Zealand, national selector Ed Smith has made plenty: four young, uncapped players and the dropping of an established member of the side. Change, it is a coming.
